Description
Fioricet may become the safest solution in the treatment of painful syndrome. This is a combined drug that has three active ingredients: Acetaminophen, Butalbital and caffeine.
If you want to stop a prolonged painful syndrome but you do not want to use narcotic analgesics, Fioricet will be the best solution of your problem.
A pain-relieving effect of Fioricet is the same as narcotic analgesics but the mechanism of the action differs. The active ingredients of Fioricet do not do with opioid receptors and do not cause narcotic addiction.
The main active ingredients is Butalbital in Fioricet. It belongs to the group of barbiturates and has a strong sedative and myorelaxing action. It inhibits the central nervous system, increases a painful threshold and stops a movement of the painful impulses.
Avetaminophen has a slightly different mechanism of the action. This is an anti-inflammatory product that inhibits pain by means of removing inflammatory and fever. This ingredient effectively helps to remove pain in patients with degenerative diseases of the locomotor system.
Caffeine is added to Fioricet as not the active ingredient but as an additional ingredient increasing a bioavailability of Butalbital and Acetaminophen. Due to this, a concentration of the active ingredients is increased in the blood, and so the analgesic effect is increased.
Fioricet may be used during painful syndrome of any severity and site: migraine, inflammatory diseases of joints, prevention of pain during diagnostic procedures, painful syndrome in oncology patients, and others.
